The room worked well for our wedding stay, though it didn't have a modern finish. There was a spacious wardrobe, but the spare plugs were under a bed and needed an adapter. The TV was awkwardly angled and difficult to use. The walk in shower was great, the main bed comfortable, and the extra family beds a little hard. The blackout blinds worked well, and tea and coffee were provided.

We were staying here for a family member's anniversary. The room was lovely, with a nicely sized bed and a clean, tidy bathroom. The shower was powerful and really good. Breakfast was fabulous, even though we seemed to be the only guests eating. The attention to detail was spot on: fresh pastries and fruit, orange juice on the table, and tea and coffee on a hotplate, with cereals nearby. Our waitress asked how many eggs we wanted with the full English. My husband asked for one and I asked for scrambled, which was no problem. Everything came quickly, piping hot and delicious. I can't recommend the hotel enough, and I'd love to return.

Our room was in the Barn and was fine in itself, but we were there the night before a wedding and could have done with somewhere to hang our clothes. The only option was a coat hook on the back of a cupboard door. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful.

We booked two nights at the Wyndham for a wedding at Clearwell Castle. There was nowhere in our room to store or hang clothes, which isn't ideal when you have formal wedding outfits. Reception was almost always unattended, and for the accommodation you get, it was very overpriced. Breakfast is only served from 08:30-09:30 am. Denise at breakfast, though, was really helpful and went out of her way to assist with my daughter's food allergies.

We held the reception after our granddaughter's christening at The Wyndham. The location is good, with plenty of parking, and the inside has classic, comfortable decor. The function room is light and airy. Summer, the manager, was a huge help. She made sure everything was perfect for such a special occasion and couldn't have done more to help the event run smoothly.
