We wished we could have stayed longer at Calder, 8 Raven Wing. The setting is dreamy and the amenities are top notch. The location is excellent, just steps from the little town of Fort Augustus and the water. Inside, the kitchen is well equipped, the space is simple but thoughtfully arranged, and the bathroom has a spa-like feel. We'll plan better next time!

The apartment at 8 Raven Wing at The Highland Club was gorgeous, stylish and cozy, and clearly put together with care. It was very well equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a restful, restorative stay and hope to come back soon. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The pool and sauna were great, and the living room felt lovely and homely. We had an incredible stay at 8 raven wing/calder. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need.

We had a lovely few days here with my daughter and her young children, and didn't need to move the car all weekend. The accommodation was stunning. The kids enjoyed swimming after we booked a slot, and loved playing chess on the lawn. The sauna only really fits two people, though, and on our hour-long slot two people were already inside, so we couldn't use it. The location is central, and the Boathouse was especially friendly with the little ones. We'd recommend the food there. We walked into the village, where lots of gift shops were open, though many food places were closed because it was out of season. We also went on the Spirit of Loch Ness for a trip around the loch. The views were breathtaking and the trip was definitely worth it. The main issues were the heavy doors, which all have closers and no door stops to keep the children from trapping their fingers. We put bags by them to stop them slamming. The park also seemed poorly maintained: there were no swings and the bridge had no bottom, so we didn't use the outdoor play area. The pictures are old. Even with those issues, we'd like to visit again in the future. It felt like a lovely home.
