Kettle House B&B

The garden is beautifully kept, with quirky little touches all through it, and the breakfast has lots of tasty choices. Our room was cosy and immaculately clean. They even left cupcakes and a wee fridge in the room, which is such a bonus when you want to keep drinks cold. You don't often see that in the UK outside 5* hotels! This B&B is an absolutely lovely hidden gem in Fort Augustus Village, by the shores of Loch Ness, with a short walk to the Loch (not sure about the monster 😉). It's full of character, quirky and extremely cosy. The owners are superb, so kind and accommodating, and you can tell they've put their heart and soul into the place. Absolutely loved it! ❤️

The bed was the most comfortable we've slept in since leaving home two weeks ago, and we're visiting the UK from Australia. The ensuite rooms are very well appointed and spotlessly clean, and we loved the complimentary homemade fancy buns. It's a short walk into town, and staying here was a pleasure. I only wish I'd brought my Bull Terriers from Oz. This place is extremely dog friendly, which was lovely to see.

Natalie gave us the warmest welcome, and made little Lola Flores feel just as welcome. She's a true hostess and a big dog lover. The rooms had everything thought of, including an iron and hairdryer, none of this Four in a Bed rubbish! Everything was clean, warm and welcoming, and breakfast was great. The gardens were magical, and little Lola could roam around happily. A lovely start to our tour of Scotland. Couldn't be bettered. Thank you so very much, 5*.

The room was tidy and clean, and Natalie had cupcakes ready to welcome us, such a sweet touch. She's a friendly, fantastic host, and we felt at home during our stay. We already miss the delicious Scottish breakfast, especially the hot food she prepared. My dog enjoyed staying here too. There's a ⛳ club nearby, just a few minutes on foot. Dogs are allowed on a lead, as long as you clean up after them. Would highly recommend it!
