Madeline looked after us so warmly and attentively that you’d think she was there all year, even though she was covering for the owners while they were on vacation. The room itself was spacious and clean, with plenty of space for luggage and a lovely loch view. The bathroom looked newly renovated, with a big shower and good pressure and temperature. Tissues, drinking water and hot chocolate in the room were nice touches. Parking and breakfast were included too. We loved staying at Blythedale house and would definitely recommend it for a nice visit to Fort William.

Breakfast was a real highlight, delicious, generous portions and plenty of choice. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the hosts were friendly and helpful throughout my two nights at Blythedale B&B in Fort William. It’s a peaceful spot but still only a short walk from the town center, so getting around was convenient. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room was clean and nice, and I really enjoyed staying there. The property has a lovely, homely feel and is well looked after, with a beautiful view and a great location. From the moment I arrived, the host was welcoming, warm and very attentive. I’d love to come back.

Blythedale House became a memorable part of a great trip for my friend and me. Fort William really has my heart, and it’s a place everyone should visit. Our rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the view from my room was one of the best. We had a wonderful time there.

The scenery was beautiful, and getting to local stores was easy. We had a peaceful, thoroughly enjoyable two night stay at the B&B, thanks in large part to the hosts, who were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Our room was immaculate and spacious, with an en suite bathroom. It’s especially handy accommodation for hikers wanting to stay close to Ben Nevis. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to return.
