We felt right at home here during our two nights in Scotland for our elopement and honeymoon. Jamie greeted us straight away, and the room had an amazing view of the Loch. The place is charmingly decorated, with tartan armchairs and thistle wallpaper, and the welcome book has plenty of useful local ideas. Jan served breakfast each morning and chatted with us like old friends. We can't wait to return and see Jamie and Jan again as a married couple.

We were celebrating our 33rd anniversary at the end of June, and Jan and Jamie were lovely hosts. The room suited us perfectly. If we're ever back in Ft. William, we'd definitely stay with them again.

Jan's encouragement helped us get up Ben Nevis, and those comfy chairs and the view were very welcome when we got back. We had a lovely stay at lawriestone guesthouse, with a great loch view from our room, a nice breakfast, and especially good conversations with Jan.

The loch and mountain view from our room was lovely, and it's an easy, pleasant ten-minute walk to Fort William High street. There's private parking round the back, too. We spent three nights here and found the room spotless and airy, with a bed so comfortable I didn't miss our one at home. Breakfast is continental, but there's plenty to choose from and the croissants are excellent. We overdid it on the first morning and had to rein ourselves in after that. Jan and Jamie, along with Duggy, the dug, were wonderful hosts. We only saw Jamie when we arrived, but Jan's breakfast chats were a real treat. She's a natural at making guests feel welcome. A brilliantly run place, and I highly recommend it.

The lake view from our spacious room was peaceful and beautiful, and the bed was big and very comfortable. Jan and Jamie were warm, attentive hosts who went out of their way to help, including with local suggestions. Breakfast set us up nicely for exploring the area. We had an amazing stay and can't recommend it enough.
