Louise had thought of the little things guests might need, and her home felt warm and welcoming. We found the spot just outside town really convenient for everywhere we wanted to visit. Such a lovely stay, and we’d happily come back.

Louise made Tudor Cottage feel exceptional, and the breakfast room is lovely, with its historic features. Breakfast was the best B&B one I can remember: homemade toast, six kinds of fresh, ripe fruit, and homemade fruit compote. She even had oat milk ready for me. Our big room was spotless, the shower was perfect, and we loved the warm welcome. Louise had also left generous homemade treats for our arrival, though we couldn’t manage to eat them all. We’re already looking forward to returning.

The rooms were really comfortable and warm, and the shower had fantastic pressure. We stayed for two nights and had a truly fantastic time, starting with a warm welcome and delicious homemade scones and cake. For a restful stay in Dorset, this place is a real gem.

We came back to stay with Louise at Tudor Cottage, and it was just as good as our first visit. Even though we’d got the dates wrong, she gave us a very warm welcome. The room was delightful, and the breakfasts were to die for. It’s perfectly placed for Dorchester, the Dorset countryside and the wider area. Perfect.

We had such a lovely three-night stay in this idyllic Tudor cottage. The four-poster bed was amazing, and homemade afternoon tea was waiting with a warm welcome. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and Louise was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. It was everything we’d hoped for from a staycation. We can’t wait to return.
