The breakfast was good value, and we weren’t disappointed by either the generous amount or the quality. We’d been recommended this place for food on our first visit to Fraserburgh with my hubby, and we were glad we tried it. The staff were very helpful, especially the attentive older waiter with glasses. We looked at the menu and there’s lots of yummy food listed. We’ll be back for the steak. Thanks for a great experience.

The service was quick and really friendly. We loved coming here for breakfast, but the menu has changed quite a lot and I don’t think it’s for the better. The choices are different, and the quality wasn’t the greatest.

The Scottish breakfast was very tasty, and everything was nicely cooked with quality produce. It cost £7.50, then another £2.50 for toast, though. Come on, toast should come with breakfast like it does at other places. Four stars, would’ve been five otherwise.

We had breakfast at the Saltoun Inn on January 27th 2026. It was a comfortable interior in a central location, and the lovely, friendly staff served our delicious food quickly. An excellent experience, recommended.

A relaxed morning atmosphere, big portions and great service. The breakfast was really tasty, especially the smoky bacon and gorgeous black pudding. I’d come back!
