Albion Hotel

We came back to The Albion after trying its restaurant about six months earlier, when the food was so good it convinced us to book two nights. Glad we did. The meals were fantastic again, and the staff were warm, attentive and made us feel looked after from arrival to departure. They were just as considerate of our dog as they were of us, and the hotel is very dog-friendly. The room was beautifully finished, with real care given to comfort and quality. We had amazing sea views and could watch both sunrise and sunset from the window. The bed, duvet and pillows were so good that I had the best sleep I've had in ages. We couldn't have asked for more, and can't wait to return.

The library was a lovely spot to unwind, and the food was delicious. Breakfast had a wide selection for different tastes. Our room was spotless and spacious, with lovely sea views. Finding fresh milk and water in the fridge was a welcome surprise. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, with nothing too much trouble. Thanks to housekeeping, the dining and kitchen teams, and reception for making the stay so enjoyable. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The meal was fantastic, and I was impressed to hear that the suppliers had rejected some of the produce they received rather than accept anything substandard. We drove from the other side of the island for lunch after celebrating the lives of family members, and it was well worth the trip. I'd highly recommend the restaurant and will visit whenever I'm on the island.

We loved the relaxed feel, friendly staff and warm, comfortable rooms, and the decor was lovely. Our deluxe coastal balcony room had an amazing shower. The Rock, the on-site restaurant, has a good choice of food. We enjoyed breakfast, dinner and a delicious Sunday lunch there, with a great atmosphere where dressing up or coming casual both felt fine. The hotel overlooks Freshwater Bay and has plenty of parking for residents. You can head straight out from the door for coastal walks or go towards Tennyson down. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
