Hickman Hill Hotel

The cooked breakfast was delicious, and both the receptionist and breakfast staff were so friendly and accommodating. During my recent stay at the Hickman Hotel, my room was warm, cosy and immaculately clean, with everything I needed, including a smart TV and fridge. It was a perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend the Hickman Hotel to anyone visiting the area. It’s one of the best places to stay.

The welcome from the staff made a real difference as I was travelling on my own. This was my second visit, and the room was clean and roomy again. The food was great and fairly priced. Such a lovely hotel, I’d happily recommend it.

After eight years as a customer, it’s disappointing to be writing this. We’ve been here for Christmas lunch, New Year’s celebrations, family parties, and meals for just the two of us. I’ve been a strong supporter of the Hickman Hill Hotel, and the food and its quality remain outstanding, easily comparable to some of London’s best. The problem was a recent conversation with a senior manager about something I considered minor. Before I could even finish explaining the context, her response was crass and rude. I was shocked, especially as the issue itself was so insignificant. With things as they are economically, it’s disappointing that a long-standing customer was treated so rudely. We won’t be returning, and we’re happy to go to a neighbouring town for a good meal. Exceptionally disappointing.
