The room suited the whole family and was lovely, but all six beds were riddled with bed bugs. We took three or four pillows down to be changed, and more bugs kept appearing. We lost a lot of sleep dealing with it and had to fight to move rooms. We asked if they could book us into the hotel two minutes down the road, but they wouldn’t accommodate us. The shower was only trickling and didn’t come out of the head properly. When we spoke to the manager and cleaner the next morning, they said they knew about the problem and kept getting people to deal with it, but it kept coming back. We definitely won’t stay again.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service and staff behaviour, and they gave me the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. It was next to the main road, with loud vehicle noise all night that kept me awake. I told the staff and asked to move, but they refused, even though they already had a vacant room.

I love coming back here when I visit. The quiet surroundings make it feel like home, and it’s one of my favourite places to relax.

The toilets were clean and the rooms tidy, which made the stay more comfortable. Everything seemed well looked after.
