Free parking, a pub and restaurant next door, easy motorway access, and a quiet area with little traffic noise were all good points. It’s a cheap hotel and decent value for the money, so my stay was okay, though there’s room to improve. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, but I only stayed one night unexpectedly and had several issues. The bathroom is dated, and the sink taps were a real headache because there was no way to mix the water without getting burned. The shower gel bottle was empty; I know I could have asked for a refill, but staff should check that at check-in. I usually bring my own things, but this was unplanned. The walls are thin, and after sleeping badly the night before, I couldn’t sleep here either because I could hear people walking and making noise. The mattress was very soft, which I didn’t find comfortable since I’m used to a firm one.

This was my first experience with a takeaway breakfast, and I wasn’t disappointed. There’s also a restaurant next door for other meals. The rooms are spacious and adequate, though bedside sockets would be useful, especially for anyone who needs one for medical equipment. It was one of the quietest hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff are a dedicated team who go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. This hotel really punches above its weight and is a gem in the area. It’s conveniently just off the A.1, close to the Metro Centre and Newcastle. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting the area.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and always going above and beyond to help. The breakfast to go was great too, with a good choice. We stayed for five nights and found the room a good size, clean, and comfortable. The location was good, not too far from places. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We slept really well, the beds and pillows were comfy, and the room had what we needed, including tissues and a hairdryer. It was clean, though it could do with an update. The location is a bit out of town, but there are buses nearby and an Uber takes about 10 minutes. Checkout at 10 was a little early for us. We’d stay again.
