Hot Tub Hideaway

Kate decorated the room and made it feel really relaxing, and the hot tub was a great extra. My partner and I stayed for our wedding night and loved it so much that within half an hour we’d already decided to book another stay. What a little gem. We had a brilliant time.

We stayed last night and loved it. The place was beautiful and warm, and the hot tub was cosy with little lights and flameless candles. There were thoughtful finishing touches, including fizz and Easter sweets. I used to pay a fortune at South Causey Inn, and this place is nicer and much more intimate. Can’t wait to come back.

Such a lovely, clean little couples’ getaway with great facilities. My partner and I stayed one night and couldn’t have asked for more. We’re already planning another visit, it was worth every penny.

We had a brilliant one night child-free romantic “micromoon” at the Hot Tub Hideaway, in the North Studio. The outdoor yard and hot tub felt very private, almost like being in the countryside. The whirlpool bath was fantastic, and the welcome hamper and prosecco were a lovely touch. There were robes and disposable slippers, plus plastic glasses and a shelf by the tub for a relaxing drink. The artificial plant wall looked lovely, and there was an outdoor plug in the hot tub shed for our phone and music. Next time I’d bring a speaker, as the jets drowned the music out. There are takeaways and restaurants nearby; we took a taxi to an Italian restaurant six minutes away and enjoyed it. Inside, everything was sparkling clean, the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, and the underfloor heating kept the temperature just right. The decor and different lighting options created a lovely atmosphere, whether you wanted it dim or bright. I’d love to return in winter and try the log burner. My one small suggestion is a swivel TV bracket, so you could watch comfortably from bed in the morning. Also, we were meant to be in the South Studio but the North Studio guests had gone into our room by mistake. The owner was extremely friendly when we rang, and we were happy to swap. We actually think we got the better studio, with its whirlpool bath and position at the end so people wouldn’t walk past. Different codes for the two studios might prevent that mix-up. We’d gladly come back if we’re lucky enough to get another child-free night.
