Gary was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. He went out of his way to make everything easy and comfortable, and his friendly attitude really stood out. Canvas Glasgow felt welcoming and well organized, which made the whole experience enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for the chance to get such great help from Gary.

The staff are lovely, but I’d tell people to live somewhere else. Canvas seems to rent out its courtyard for bagpipe band rehearsals, and the noise can be intolerable all day for a week. The courtyard echoes badly, so you can hear much of what people outside are saying even with the windows shut. The EP certificate also points to inadequate cooling, and the building gets too hot in summer, over 26 degrees inside. The bin rooms are filthy, with dirt, liquid waste and other rubbish, and don’t seem to be cleaned often. Drains clog regularly too, which suggests deeper plumbing problems throughout the building. I wouldn’t book here. In my view, many of the positive reviews come from staff saying you could win money by leaving one. It’s worth researching Greystar’s property management, since Greystar owns Canvas, and trying to avoid its properties.

Really friendly, approachable staff, and the facilities are nice. It’s also close enough to the city centre for an easy walk.
