Frances welcomed us with tea and homemade scones and was a lovely, smiling host. The room was spotless and the beds were really comfortable.

My first night at the Kip in the Kirk was before I set off on the West Highland Way, and it was exactly the kind of place I needed for a good night’s sleep. Tara was lovely when she checked me in and chatted with me about my trip. Everything was great, and the homemade jams were a nice surprise. I’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you’re doing the West Highland Way or just visiting Drymen.

After the first day of the WHW, this was a lovely place to stay. Breakfast is included and it’s a good one. Frances knows how to look after hikers, and the tea and scones welcome has become legendary. You’ll regret skipping this place.

The rooms have charm and were clean and very comfortable. The beds were great, and I had one of the best showers I’ve had while travelling. There’s lots of homemade produce, and the village green, where all the action is, is just a short walk away. Frances is one of the friendliest, most helpful and informative hosts we’ve met in a long time. She made us tea and scones when we arrived, got breakfast ready for our departure, and chatted with us about everything and nothing. A gem of a host. Thanks, Frances.

The clean bathrooms and homemade breakfast were great, and the scones Frances served when we arrived were a lovely touch. It was a nice way to meet other West Highland Way hikers. Frances is kind and welcoming. The only thing I’d change is the bunk beds, which felt a bit wobbly.
