My daughter and I have stayed here for three days, and I really don't recommend it. This place is infested with mice. She heard noises overnight, then this morning, while getting ready for school, a mouse ran out from behind the fridge. She jumped onto the bed screaming, and we were both terrified. It ran underneath, so we couldn't get down. We called reception, and they were very calm, as if they already knew about the mice. Other people we've spoken to said they'd seen loads of them too. Sorry this is such a long review, but don't stay here.

We complained to reception about the mice, and they told us to try and “go back to sleep”. We couldn't sleep all night because there were mice all over the room, and we were scared they might do something to us. It was terrifying. On the second night, I saw another mouse in the eating area, so hide your food, everyone! The room smelled, the carpet was old, the wardrobe was broken, and the bathroom smelled awful. We had to wash it ourselves before it was usable. Please choose a better hotel instead of this place, or sleep in the park. I do not recommend it at all.

The service is lovely, and the staff are nice. Breakfast tastes good, but it's the same every day, and I expected some variety. The rooms are fine for a hotel, though the bathroom is a bit small. It's not bad, and I'd say it deserves more ratings. Overall, a great hotel.

There were three adult women in our room, with two single beds and one double. It was very clean, smelled fresh, and we got fresh towels each day. The bath and shower were lovely, with good hot water, and we had tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was included in the price and had everything you could want, from a full Scottish breakfast to cereal, yogurt, fruit, fresh coffee, tea and juice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was incredible, one of the best I've had, with vegan and vegetarian choices as well as tasty kippers. The staff made things easy and were flexible about guests' needs, with plenty to choose from, including cereal, pancakes and fresh fruit. We booked four nights and weren't sure at first because some Google photos show an old, dated hotel. Staying there gave us a completely different impression. We arrived around 10pm after our flight was delayed, and the receptionist quickly checked us in and explained everything. The hotel is made from four houses joined together, with 80 rooms. Some areas are older and could be updated to match the rest over time. Our room was a little dated, but its bathroom was new and had a multi channel TV. It's an easy walk to the city centre, with shops and bars close by. I'd fully recommend it if you're in Glasgow.
