Millennium Hotel Glasgow

The bed was very comfortable, but the room itself was tiny, dated and unclean. The floor had stains and dirt, and the shower over the bath felt very old fashioned. Really, the whole room needs to be stripped out and updated. At £81 without breakfast, it was very poor value. Three stars at best. The location is great, and I think that's why they get most of their custom.

We got a really good room only deal for an overnight stay in a double. The bedroom was huge, with a comfortable bed and sofa, and the bathroom was lovely. It's very central, right next to Glasgow Queen St Station. I'd stay again.

The beds were comfortable and everything was clean, so if that’s all you need, it’s fine. We had a warm, comfortable Hogmanay stay and the hotel was good value, with a great location, but it feels tired. The furniture and carpets need updating, and the staff seemed a bit unmotivated, much like the hotel itself, even though they were friendly. There was no atmosphere on Hogmanay. When we asked for an Aperol Spritz at the bar, we were told they don’t make cocktails after 9pm. I couldn’t find food or room service menus, so I’m not sure whether food is available. We didn’t have breakfast.

Sheree in housekeeping deserves a special mention. Her kind, careful service made a real difference. My room at the Millennium Hotel Glasgow was spotless, and the service throughout was great. I really enjoyed my stay.
