The bar staff were excellent, and customer service in general was good. Room 22 was small but had everything I needed. The restaurant seemed fairly busy each night, and the food was good for two out of the three meals I had there. I didn’t see much of the town while I was there. Breakfast didn’t have much choice for a stay of several nights. One thing to be aware of: some rooms seem to be in the middle of the building and may have no windows. I wouldn’t want one of those, though maybe they’re cheaper. I’d have no issue staying again.

The food was absolutely delicious when we stayed at the Broadcroft Hotel on Valentine’s night in room 19. The room was comfortable too. Service was a little slow because it was so busy, but the staff were polite and handled our feedback very professionally. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back.

The restaurant was great, and the decor was nice. For a really good price, we got a comfortable room and friendly service. I don’t usually leave Google reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The main problem was the hot water. Maybe I showered too early or too late, but I never had enough for more than a few minutes of a warm shower. 4/5 overall.

Our family Christmas Eve lunch has become a tradition, and the food was exceptional as always. We finished with lovely wine and a selection of cocktails. All the staff were kind and attentive. Thanks for having us, we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The room was cosy and comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. My partner and I had an amazing stay, with very friendly, attentive staff. We’ll definitely be back.
