During my week-long stay, housekeeping only came once a week. Breakfast was just a box of cornflakes with a small amount of milk. The property is near the highway and there aren’t any shops nearby, which may explain the level of service. I’d appreciate it if you would take this feedback into consideration.

We were there for work, so the location suited us as a base. The reception staff were helpful, and there were plenty of places to get food nearby.

The lack of Wi-Fi included in the price and the bad instant coffee made the stay feel like something to endure rather than a hotel break. The staff were mostly nowhere to be seen, and the few we met were cold and unhelpful. Getting around on foot isn’t possible because there are no walking paths, so the only nearby place to eat is a Chinese restaurant. The room had visibly grimy carpets and almost no furniture, with just one desk chair to sit on. Even the lobby was cramped and smelled foul, which set a miserable tone as soon as I arrived. Finding accommodation in Cumbernauld feels like choosing from a vending machine where all the options are bad, and you get what you pay for.
