Adrian and Dot make the place especially enjoyable. They’re warm hosts, happy to share useful local advice and have an interesting chat. The room was simple but comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful before we set off. We only stayed one night as a stop on the way home after five nights camping in awful conditions in the Lake District, so it was a very welcome change. It would also work well as a base for a few days exploring the area. I’d happily recommend this B&B and expect to stay again.

The hosts really look after you throughout your stay, and the breakfasts are amazing. The rooms are lovely too, all in a stunning location.

A car is essential here, but once you’re settled in it’s peaceful and tranquil. We had a lovely weekend. The place was spotless, breakfast was lovely, and Dot & Adrian were welcoming and knew the area well. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was just right, with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and a choice of cooked meals. Our room was immaculate, the en-suite spotless, and the shower had great water pressure. Dot and Adrian are a super-friendly couple, and their B&B is 5*. Highly recommend for a great stay.

Stayed one night in the twin room B&B with en-suite shower and wc. Fantastic historic building conversion and stylish, comfortable accommodation. Dot and Adrian are great hosts, serve a terrific breakfast and couldn’t be more helpful. We’ll definitely be back.
