Rie’s Retreat made us feel at home, whether relaxing in the house or spending time in the gardens. Rie and her lovely helper Helen really look after their guests, and the fresh, healthy meals are delicious, especially with dessert at the end. The rooms are cosy, and it’s close to the Tor, Chalice Well, White Spring and Abbey. A lovely spot for a solo trip, a visit with friends or a retreat. Rie’s warmth, laughter and care make you want to return.

There were nine of us on the retreat, and the house felt like a home away from home. Rie and her friend Helen welcomed us warmly, the food was lovely and nicely presented, and the house was clean and presentable. It’s well located too, with the sights a 5-10 minute walk away.

The homemade vegetarian food was absolutely delicious, 10 out of 10. We had an incredible few days at Rie's retreat: the rooms were comfortable and it’s ideally placed for the main attractions. Rie is wonderful and went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be. Such a warm welcome. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

Rie was a wonderful host for my Women's Yoga group. She arranged massages for the ladies, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Her home cooking was lovely, with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options. The Retreat house is very clean and welcoming, about five minutes’ walk from Glastonbury high street. We stayed in the Amethyst room and loved the facilities, the room and the location. It’s just the right distance from the town centre, around a seven-minute walk. We’ve only just got back from our weekend in Glastonbury, and we’re already looking forward to visiting again!
