There’s no TV in the bedroom, but Gerry said we could use the lounge. We didn’t need to, as we went to The Tour instead. The garden is beautiful and the setting is peaceful, with alleyways leading toward town at the end of the cul-de-sac. The bed was comfortable, and the house has an interesting mix of Deco and other styles. The main bathroom for guests has been recently renovated, with a roll-top bath, a separate large shower and cerise pink loo roll. Gerry is friendly and makes you feel welcome. It’s a rare Glastonbury find with parking and breakfast, and you can walk easily into town and to The Tour. Breakfast was plentiful, with fresh fruit salad, walnuts, almonds, dates, yoghurt, milk, juice, tea, coffee, cereal, toast, pastries, jam and honey. There are alternatives to cow’s milk and different teas, plus lovely views of the garden and its Willow tree. Great value, comfortable, quiet and friendly.

We had a lovely weekend at Gerry’s. He’s a great host, and both the house and food were lovely 😀

Thanks so much for looking after us this week. You’re a great host, the house is lovely, and breakfast was amazing!

The host was so welcoming and kind, and we left with a commemorative photo together. Our stay in Glastonbury was wonderful. We were on our honeymoon and arrived late at night. When we got in touch, someone came to collect us from the nearby bus stop. The hotel felt homely, with pleasant music and lots of decor that made it relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast had fresh fruit and plenty of cereals, and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

The room was cosy, and we enjoyed sitting in the garden during the fairly good weather for that time of year. The Willow is in a small residential area, just a two-minute walk from the centre of Glastonbury. We spent our holiday here in October while exploring Glastonbury and the surrounding area, and we loved our time at Gerry’s home. His kindness and talent as a host made us feel at home. My wife is vegan and I’m vegetarian, and by the morning after we arrived, Gerry had adjusted breakfast for us. We also enjoyed chatting with Gerry. He’s a pleasant person and knows lots of Spanish words. Thank you!
