The Cottage Glossop

The neighbours were friendly and helpful without intruding, and Wayne was very friendly and always available. Inside, the little cottage was spotless, warm and had everything we needed. We loved winding down by the log burner, and our dog enjoyed the freedom of the garden. The cake and milk left for us on arrival was a lovely gesture. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely New Year stay, and the secure, spacious garden gave our dog plenty of room to play. After walks in the beautiful local area, it was great to snuggle up by the log fire. The cottage was cosy, immaculately clean and had amazing views. We’ll be back, and I’d happily recommend it.

My daughter recommended The Cottage, and it turned out to be a wonderful find. My two dogs loved the garden, and its good fencing meant I knew they were safe. There are lovely walks around the area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a cosy woodfire. The main bedroom was very comfortable, and I could see the stars from bed. There’s also a single room with twin beds. After a week there I felt so relaxed, and can’t wait to return.

Dog owners will find footpaths right on the doorstep. The cottage is peaceful, with splendid views, and the spacious accommodation is comfortable and well presented. There’s a log burner in the lounge, an excellent range cooker in the kitchen, a roomy main bedroom with a very comfortable bed, and a well-equipped bathroom. We’ll certainly return.
