The apartment was in a great spot, walkable to shops and restaurants, with a beautiful park opposite where we could take walks with our 5-month-old baby. Parking was free, and the very detailed access instructions made arrival easy. The place was clean and had what we needed, including equipment for sterilising baby bottles. Communication with the host was excellent, and the information book had helpful suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We also liked the shared library. The shower temperature was very hard to adjust. During a heatwave we ended up showering in extremely hot water, which was uncomfortable. Then, on our first morning at about 5:30am, the bathtub glass suddenly collapsed and shattered across the bathroom. It was frightening to wake to that noise. Thankfully we were asleep, and neither we nor our baby were using the bath, because it could have been dangerous. Maybe the very warm weather caused it, but it was still scary. At first the host thought we'd caused the damage and wanted to charge us £150, but later understood it wasn't our fault. Despite that, we enjoyed the stay thanks to the location, cleanliness and excellent communication.

Charlie let us leave the car after checkout, which gave us extra time for sightseeing before we left. The upgraded apartment was a wow when we walked in: spacious, beautifully decorated, fully equipped and spotlessly clean, with even a little balcony. The location was great, just a few minutes on foot from Gloucester docks and its restaurants and shops, with the fantastic cathedral a little farther along. I'd definitely recommend it.

Apartment number 9 at Judges Lodgings was spacious, clean and well equipped, with lovely decor and comfortable beds. It was about a five-minute walk to a nice area of bars and restaurants by the quay and docks. Communication was good throughout, and self check-in and checkout were easy. Loved it.

We had a wonderful stay with our family of six. This beautiful historic building had plenty of charm and character, and the space was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk from our destination. We'd happily return and highly recommend it.

Everything was ready when we arrived, and the owners were fantastic with their help and service. The flat was super clean, had great amenities, and was well located for Gloucester, near the centre and docks. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, which is the one small thing I'd mention in case they plan to replace the sofa in future.
