Fairhaven Country Guest House

Another birthday celebration, and once again Pete and Sarah looked after us to their usual high standard. It's always a pleasure seeing you both. Thanks for the excellent service, and we'll see you again in May.

A friend recommended this lovely B&B, and our top-floor room had a great outlook over the village and moorlands. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean, with nothing missing, including the en suite. Breakfast was included, and the board had some interesting specials listed for the next day. The owners also suggested some places to visit; we tried them and were glad we did.

The hosts were helpful and accommodating throughout my stay, with good local suggestions, and their warm welcome made me feel at home. Fairhaven itself was delightful, inviting and beautifully kept. It felt fresh and modern, as though it had been redecorated recently, while still keeping its character. Breakfast was a highlight each day, freshly made with quality ingredients and clear care. They don't serve evening meals, but there are a hotel, pub and tea rooms about a 10-minute walk away. A comfortable, welcoming stay with wonderful hosts and lovely food.

Pete and Sarah made us feel at home as soon as we walked through the door at Fairhaven. The traditional B&B is beautifully decorated, with a lovely lounge for watching the sunset and a breakfast room where we enjoyed gorgeous breakfasts and specials. We spent two nights there at the end of our North Yorkshire holiday, and we'll definitely return. Thanks for a lovely couple of days, from Jayne, Nigel and Chris.
