The Swan Inn

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from, and the woman serving us was friendly, chatty, and full of local knowledge. The food was good value, so my husband and I ended up eating at the restaurant every night. Fabio welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to a lovely room with a balcony and an upstairs bedroom. We had our first dinner there that evening, and the presentation and taste were both wonderful. Everyone on the team was kind and helpful. We had a great break at The Swan Inn and would happily recommend it. We'll be back!

We mostly needed the family quadruple room as a place to sleep between busy days out, and it suited the four of us well. Breakfast was cooked nicely, and we stopped by the inn one evening for a drink. It had a pleasantly relaxed feel. The menu looked tempting, but we were usually out until 8pm and had already eaten. For us, value and staff were both 10/10, comfort was 9/10, and cleanliness was 8/10. We'd stay again, though the rooms could use a little more time spent cleaning.

I only stopped for a drink, but tried a couple of menu items too, rather than having a full meal. The Surrey steak ciabatta with chips and gravy was lovely, with really tasty, beautifully cooked steak. Service was quick, welcoming and friendly. The midweek price for two courses seemed very reasonable, and I'll come back for a proper meal.

Dinner was fantastic, and the service was attentive throughout. Fabio and Jasmine both took great care of us. The bar had a lovely, atmospheric feel, and there was an amazing choice of wine. We were there for my husband's birthday and felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Fabio, the manager, got us checked in quickly. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower with great pressure. We'd definitely stay and eat here again. Thank you!
