We stopped for a night during our NC500 trip. The place was spotless and comfortable, but breakfast was the standout. Our hosts prepared it with care at an early hour, and those were the best sausages I’ve ever had. Booking this place at the last minute for our group left me with no regrets. We were all really pleased with the choice.

The bathroom was spotless and the shower was great, and the room itself was clean, lovely and comfortable. We had complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was beautiful, a full Scottish breakfast with cereal and toast. We stayed one night on the way to Orkney and would highly recommend the place. Thank you. My only small niggle was that there was too much furniture. One chair would be enough, and the trouser press could go. Otherwise, it was perfect.

The hosts were welcoming, and breakfast was superb. We stayed just one night and found the room perfectly adequate, with a comfy bed and a very powerful shower. There may be a bit too much furniture in there, though. The trouser press could probably be removed.

The owners offered to prepare breakfast early because my husband had a 9 am appointment at the local hospital. There was a wonderful choice at breakfast, and we got a lovely welcome when we arrived. We had a lovely en suite room. When another couple turned up hoping for a vacant room as we were checking in, the owners followed all the Covid rules, staggering breakfast so guests wouldn’t meet. That must have meant extra work for them. We’ll definitely go back.

We were covered in mud after a couple of days mountain biking in Golspie, but the owners of Invicta House B&B gave us a warm welcome and even dried our shoes in the tumble dryer. Their hospitality was faultless. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice to get us set up for the day. If you need somewhere to stay in Golspie, Invicta House B&B won’t disappoint.
