Trefechan Wen Barn

Marty was a super owner, and the showers were great. This is a lovely little campsite, full of wildflowers, with a compost toilet. He's passionate about biodiversity and sustainability and has done a brilliant job re-wilding the land. He kindly helped us gather seeds to take along. We only stayed one night while passing through on a cycling trip, but we'd definitely recommend the site. Thumbs up from us 👍👍👍

We spent three nights here without using the car, with plenty of footpaths and bridleways nearby to keep us busy. The big hill back from the pub or shop in Goodwick certainly kept us fit. It's a peaceful spot on Pembrokeshire's north coast, with a relaxed feel and everything well maintained. The owners take personal pride in the campsite, which is part of their home, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend it for relaxed, low-impact camping.

We paid £20 for one tent and two people, which felt like great value. The pitches are laid out well across the fields, and there's a pub about a 15-minute walk down the road. The host was friendly and the views were excellent. A picnic bench was a rare treat for a campsite in Pembrokeshire. Great stay.

We began and finished our cycling trip here, and it was a wonderful experience with amazing people. Couldn't have picked a better place. Highly recommend!
