The TV had a scratch running across it, and the showerhead was broken. The bedsheets made me itchy, and this was the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. At least I could log into Netflix.

It’s a very nice place to stay, and getting to Gosport centre and the bus station takes about five minutes on foot. I’m always glad to come back.

The manager said he was calling the police because I went outside for a cigarette at 11:45 pm, and threatened to take me to court and close my business after I complained about the poor customer service and misleading advertising. Apparently, leaving my room meant I’d broken the policies, and the rooms are locked at 11 pm. This is a hostel, not a three-star hotel. There’s a big difference. Do not stay here!

The only thing that stopped this being a five-star stay was the price. It was high because it was festival weekend. The staff were polite, the room was clean, and the location was great, so overall it was decent. The shower could be better, and they were painting the place, though I can’t hold that against them.

I felt right at home in my own little space here. It was quiet and clean, with lovely beds and a great shower and toilet in the room. The lady and gentleman who run this lovely little guest house are amazing, so welcoming, and lovely people.
