We stayed with friends in this cosy little lodge, surrounded by idyllic scenery. The private garden was beautifully landscaped and secluded, with plenty of room for garden games and sunbathing. It's easy to find and well placed for walking into the lovely village of Cartmell, with its cafes and restaurants. The appliances were modern and easy to use, everything was clean, and there was enough on-site parking for three cars. We'd happily stay again.

North Lodge is spacious and beautiful both inside and out, and the garden gets plenty of sun. The peaceful countryside views and location made it a lovely place to stay. We got back from a week there and already know we'll return. There were lovely welcome touches too: swan-shaped towels and Lindt chocolates on each bed, plus Prosecco and Cartmels Sticky Toffee Pudding in the fridge. Those little extras go a long way. Can't wait to come back 🤎

The lodge has a wonderful private, enclosed garden and terrace, with beautiful views. It's also an easy walk to the racecourse and some great pubs, bars and restaurants. Really well furnished. I'd definitely recommend a visit and can't wait to return!

The lodge was very clean, and I was impressed by how well communication was handled. It's in a calm, peaceful area with lovely scenery, not far from Windermere. I had a lovely stay and would book again.

The kids loved spending time in the brilliant-sized garden every day, and those breathtaking views never get old. Such a peaceful, immaculate place. We'll definitely come back!
