Sunny Brae has plenty of room and is tastefully furnished, with good-quality crockery, cutlery and linen. We enjoyed a family holiday there, with board games, books and even table tennis to keep us busy. We also had a barbecue on the first night, and it was easy to get to the main Lake District spots. A couple of things let it down: there were no toiletries, just one toilet roll in each bathroom, and cobwebs in the kitchen and toilet cabinets and a couple of other places.
