Rachel was a great host, and there’s lovely countryside nearby with plenty of places to walk or run. The street is quiet, yet Cartmel centre is only a few minutes away on foot. We were especially impressed by the quality of the fixtures and fittings, some of the best we’ve come across in any AirBnB. Can’t recommend the place highly enough.
Even with the weather being less than ideal, this was a wonderful place to settle in, relax, and watch the world through those impressive windows. When we went out, the pubs, restaurants and Rachel’s cafe were only a short walk away. The coffee and breakfast there were delicious. The thoughtful extras were lovely too, from the bath robes and fragrant toiletries to the sticky toffee pudding and drinks waiting in the fridge. A delightful little gem.
We loved how private and quiet the Old Roller Shed felt, while still being cosy and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and all the small touches made it feel homely and a little luxurious. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully put together. Cartmel is just a short stroll away, with charming pubs, restaurants and walks close by. We had dinner at Rogan, which was stunning. We had a perfect stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We can’t wait to return.
This was my second time staying at The Old Hay Shed at Boutique Sheds, Cartmel, and I’ll be back for a third. The property looks stunning, has a high quality fit-out and is exceptionally well-maintained. I had a fantastic week there.
Immaculate accommodation with everything you need, and a high end hotel feel while still having your own space. Absolutely stunning. I highly recommend it.
