The staff were great, and nothing felt forced or over the top. Breakfast was class, with a proper continental spread while you wait and then a cooked breakfast that tasted amazing. The hotel was lovely, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also had access to the wellness facilities at The Inn in Grasmere, which was ideal after a full day out in the Lakes. We arrived to complimentary afternoon tea and found we’d been upgraded too. Those little touches make a difference. Would happily stay again and recommend it without hesitation.

We ate at the sister property The Inn at Grasmere, and the food was lovely as ever. We stayed in a ground floor kingsize suite, with an amazing bed and the best sleep ever. The hotel was amazing, but the outstanding customer service from Mobit and Richard was the best part. They couldn’t do enough to help us. Richard has just joined the team and is a great asset to this outstanding hotel. We’ll be back. Thank You Angela and Roger

The gardens, conservatory, and lounge are lovely, and there’s a small bar too. There’s no restaurant for evening meals. The hotel is right in the centre of Grasmere, with spacious, very comfortable rooms and your own allocated free parking space. Service was excellent and really friendly. We had complimentary cream tea on arrival, and you can help yourself to tea and coffee during the day. Breakfast can be continental, cooked, or a mix of both, and there’s lots of choice. Highly recommended.

Grasmere is a nice place, though there aren’t many places for an evening meal. There are lots of options during the day. At the hotel, the staff were excellent, always smiling and helpful, and the self service system worked really well for us. The cooked breakfast was exceptionally good, as was the fresh cream tea each day.

The full English breakfast was excellent, cooked to order by the chef. We also enjoyed the afternoon scones and having the conservatory to sit in between rain showers. The room was cozy, clean, and fresh, though the bed wasn’t the most comfortable.
