Melody House worked really well as a base for exploring North Norfolk, and there’s parking behind the B&B. We had three lovely nights. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and fresh fluffy towels were left each day. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, ordered the night before, and was tasty, especially the buttery scrambled eggs. It was presented beautifully, too. Audrey has run a pub and a larger hotel and worked as an entertainer, so she knows how to put on a spread. Downstairs is full of quirky memorabilia from past decades, which made it interesting.

Audrey is a real treasure, and the care she puts into this B&B shows in all the details. She’s been a performing musician for years and has a fascinating background. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and full of character, and breakfast was superb. The place is wonderfully decorated with charming, intriguing objects. We loved our stay here and would happily recommend it to anyone passing through.

Audrey has so many stories, and listening to her was fascinating and entertaining. The rooms have everything you need, and breakfast was excellent. A lovely little B&B, easy to recommend.

The way the downstairs lounges were dressed for Christmas, with natural foliage, was really tasteful and gave the place a warm, almost big-hug feeling. It brought back so many memories and made me feel as if I’d gone back to the early 60s. We were there to see the Thursford Christmas spectacular show. Our room, number 1, was cosy and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. Audrey cooked a superb breakfast, served on matching bone china right down to the salt and pepper pots. Thanks to Audrey and Christopher for hosting us. We’d certainly recommend a stay.

Breakfast was arranged for a time that suited us, with lots to choose from and a beautifully set table. The cooked food was lovely, hot, and good quality. We got a warm welcome, and the lady was friendly and showed us to a clean, fresh, bright room. No complaints, we’d definitely recommend staying here.
