Kilbrannan Guest House

The location was perfect, and our room was spotless. Breakfast was exceptional, and Gary & Julie made us feel so welcome, almost like staying with family. A fantastic stay, and those five stars are well deserved.

We keep coming back, and this was our fourth stay with Gary and Julie at the Kibrannen Guest House. It's ideally placed, a short walk to the beach, shopping area, bus station and main streets. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, or Gary and Julie will do their best to get it for you. They're so warm and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice and everything cooked really well. No surprise people book again year after year. Thanks for another lovely stay.

Just spent a week with gary and Julie, who are such welcoming, superb hosts. The room was immaculate, and the homemade cake on arrival was delicious. Breakfast was the best we've had. If you're after a great guest house, this is the one. Looking forward to our next stay.

Breakfast was the highlight. In a bright, airy dining room, they offer a huge range of choices, all freshly cooked just how you want them. It beats breakfast at plenty of four-star hotels and really sets you up for the day. Our downstairs room had a comfortable king size bed and a modern bathroom with a reliable, powerful shower. We slept very well, with no noise at all, and the room was refreshed daily. The hospitality tray was the best we've seen, with all sorts of drinks, biscuits and Julie's homemade cake. Gary had reserved off-road parking at no extra cost and carried our luggage when we arrived. Julie got us checked in and made sure we'd have what we needed. They were both friendly and helpful throughout, without hovering. The direct booking was easy too, and from arrival to leaving, we were happy with every part of the stay. We chose the Kilbrannan Guest House after seeing so many high ratings and weren't disappointed. We came home relaxed and happy, and would recommend it wholeheartedly. Thanks, Gary and Julie!
