Dinner was a highlight, the food and cocktails were lovely, and Andreea looked after us with such a friendly, attentive manner. Breakfast was just as good, with a nice continental spread as well as eggs Benedict and a full English. We were greeted by a lovely woman whose name we didn't catch. We arrived around 10:30 on Valentine’s Day and could leave the car in the carpark while we explored before check-in. When we came back about an hour before check-in, we were able to relax at the hotel and get into our room a little early. It was clean, had a very comfortable bed, and everything we needed. My partner and I had a really lovely stay, and we'll definitely be back.

I stay in hotels most nights for work, and this has been my favourite so far. The staff were fantastic, from the waiter and bar lady to the young woman who checked me in around 5pm. The seabass was amazing, and the bill came to far less than I expected. I felt so well fed and refreshed that I was ready for bed early, at 20:40, before another early work morning. The views, decor, atmosphere and staff were all brilliant, 10/10. Also, the gentleman playing bagpipes down by the beach was absolutely epic. I’m very happy with my stay and can’t recommend it enough. Loved it.

The waitress was superb, cheerful and attentive, and a real credit to the Cliff. Sadly, the food was very poor. Someone at our table said it was Wetherspoons quality, and that felt accurate, though that would be fine at Wetherspoons prices. At £20 a plate, it was diabolical. We ate there on a Sunday night.

Edie made me the best caramel iced latte my tastebuds have ever had. She was such a delightful person to meet. I only popped in for a light afternoon coffee, but I'll definitely be back for another one soon 😊

We stopped in a couple of times for drinks and a snack, and it was nice sitting out on the terrace with our dog. We had a meal indoors once, which was okay, though the menu felt more like fast food. The staff were friendly. A pleasant change of scenery.
