I was here on a business trip before heading back offshore to the North Sea just in time for Christmas. The two nights at The Prom were really pleasant, with a comfortable room and great food. The staff were hands down the most polite and welcoming I’ve ever met. I was impressed by everyone, especially Lauren, Keira, Monica, Rob and Billy. A huge thank you to the whole team, front of house and behind the scenes. They’ve made the thought of working offshore at Christmas much easier to bear. Five stars to The Prom. Hopefully I’ll see you all in 2026. Sam the Diver.

Donna was lovely, always greeting us with a smile and helping Simon and me find things to do through the week. Leslie cooked a brilliant breakfast and catered to everyone’s needs. Five stars to the cleaning staff too, especially Donna and Leslie, and our room was cleaned every day. Simon and I had a brilliant time at this absolutely beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to rooms 108, 110. Simon asked me to thank everyone for a wonderful week. We’ll definitely be back next year ❤️

That Sunday roast was fantastic. The beef was beautifully rare, the trimmings were great, and the portions were so generous. I was really impressed by the quality.

I’ve been coming to this great hotel for years. The staff are friendly, there’s disabled access, and a lift goes up to the first floor. There’s no parking at the hotel, but a reasonably priced parking meter is only a two-minute walk away. What keeps bringing me back is Lesley and the breakfast team. She’s the heart of the hotel, always smiling and great with the kids. Her breakfasts are fresh and delicious. The one downside is that the cleaning could be more thorough.
