Brenda and Roy made our wedding stay on 5th May 2016 feel special from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast was delicious. We loved the beautiful luxury room, with its four-poster bed, jacuzzi bath, chocolates and champagne. I’d highly recommend Anvil View.

The location was great, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but found the guest house clean and welcoming, with a good breakfast. The rooms were a good size, though the bed didn’t suit us and we didn’t find it comfortable.

We got a lovely warm welcome at this cosy, clean guest house. It’s well placed for Gretna and was reasonably priced. We slept well and enjoyed breakfast, and would stay again next time we visit Gretna.

Brenda and Roy were friendly hosts, and the guest house was clean. The garden was delightful, the location worked really well, and breakfast was excellent.

Our room here was better than the ones we’d had at Greens and Smiths, and the hosts were very accommodating. It’s a lovely guest house, though the bed was quite hard and we had a tough night’s sleep.
