I enjoyed the setting and how friendly the host was during my few nights here. The booking got off to a rocky start because our security admin team booked at the last minute, but Jill sorted things out quickly and professionally. Thanks again for having us, Jill. Best wishes, Jo.

The lady who runs the place knows the local area really well, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options for different tastes. Greystoke village is lovely, there's a great pub just a short walk away, and you're well placed for trips to the Lake District and Penrith. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the peaceful setting makes it a fantastic place to stay. Well worth the money.

We'd like to come back and stay longer to explore the area. Jill and Will were excellent hosts, and the bed was very comfortable. The place was extremely clean and breakfast was a great cooked one. There's also a good village pub for evening meals.

We broke up our trip from Aberdeen to Oxford with a stop here, arriving in glorious sunshine. Jill made us a lovely breakfast before we headed off to explore the Lakes. She and the other hosts were very friendly, and the house has real character, with a charming garden. Our huge bed was extremely comfortable, and the Boot and Shoe pub is just a short walk away. I'd definitely recommend a stay.
