For £60, I expected a lot more. The mattress was uncomfortable, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, and the shower head was held up with a zip tye. There were no toiletries either. We did have hot water in our room, but someone else in our party didn't. This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. At half the price, I wouldn't have complained.
The receptionist was really helpful, and for £45 the room was quite spacious with plenty of parking. The main road noise carried on constantly, though, and the whole motel felt worn out. I stayed one night. It's fine if you just need somewhere cheap, but don't expect much.
We were a bit nervous after reading all the negative reviews, but it wasn't as bad as we'd expected. It was grubby in places, though the staff were friendly. The microwave for Ginsters was a bonus! There weren't any alternatives nearby at the same price, so it was okay for what we paid.
The place is a little run down, and I think it's an old Travelodge that could use a revamp. Still, the rate and location were decent, and the staff were both professional and lovely. I'd stay again.
It was dreadful, so I refused to stay. At first I was told nobody there could refund my credit card. Eventually they did, because we wouldn't leave until it was sorted.
