Jo showed me around when I arrived and kindly explained where everything was. I was visiting family in Grimsby for one night, and the guesthouse was nearby. My cosy, clean room had everything I needed: a double bed, a wardrobe with lots of hangers, tea and coffee, complimentary toiletries, a robe, and a TV. There's also access to cooking appliances and cutlery, plus laundry for an additional fee. The communal room has games for visitors and kids. The bathroom was clean, with a toilet, shower, and bath, though the bath isn't in use. The shower worked well. Although my booking was non-refundable, I could move it to a later date after last-minute changes, for a small fee. There's parking on the drive, and being off the main road made it quiet in the evening. I'd stay again. :)

The house was warm and comfortable, and Jo made delicious homemade bread and jam for breakfast. I'd recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.

Jo was a wonderful host, and her cooked breakfast was amazing. I only stayed one night, but it was such a cosy, welcoming place, with a peaceful room and a really comfortable bed. I'd definitely recommend it.

We stayed in the family room with two adults and two children. The loft conversion has a sloped roof, so there were a few bumps to the head before we got used to ducking. Jo was thoughtful and friendly from the start. She quickly sorted out an error I'd made when booking, and she even baked cookies for the boys to enjoy in the room and saved some extras for our drive home. She couldn't have been a better host. The room was clean and comfortable for all of us. The location is about a 10 minute drive from the seafront, with a lovely village, a Co-op, and an amazing takeaway just a couple of minutes away by car. We'd come back and highly recommend it!

Joe was a fantastic host, and the room was comfortable and good. My husband came across Joe's Guesthouse online by chance, and it turned out to be ideally situated for our needs. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day. We'll be back.
