Premier Inn Grimsby

We had a great time seeing our granddaughter and giving her Christmas presents. It was magical, and I slept really well. The bedding was crisp, white, fresh, and clean. At reception, Stacy and Lee were brilliant, and Stacy gave us a really warm welcome. The restaurant was appalling. There was hardly any food left, and what had been cooked was tasteless. The bacon was like rubber and the tomatoes weren't grilled. On the second day, there was no chef, so no cooked breakfast. Jasmine was on duty and doing everything. She was very busy, but coped really well and politely explained to the guests that there wouldn't be a cooked breakfast. She deserves a good appraisal. Thank you all.

Our bed was as comfortable as usual, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and good-humoured. The person serving in the restaurant was run off her feet doing too many jobs at once, but stayed calm and pleasant despite the pressure. The place itself looks tired and needs some TLC inside and out. The carpet was stained, and there were marks on the bathroom ceiling and walls.

The location isn't great for the PI, but room 102 was quiet. Staff were prompt, polite, and professional, especially in the restaurant. Other Premier Inns could learn from them; the service was a shining example.

We were heading to a gig at Yardbirds and this turned out to be a handy place to stay. Drew let us check in a little early, which made it possible to enjoy a full day and night out, and the staff were really helpful arranging taxis. Great location.
