Gelli House

We felt at home at Gelli House almost straight away, and leaving was the hard part. The rooms were spotless and the beds really comfortable. Our hosts had also thought of loads of little things for our young children, from stair gates and socket covers to a high chair, booster seat, kids’ plates, cups and cutlery. They moved things out of the way to help avoid hazards, too. There was a bottle of wine and cakes waiting when we arrived, and they gave us a tour. The new garden was a lovely spot to unwind in the good weather we had. A big Nisa a few doors away had all we needed, with two large Tesco’s and a Lidl also reachable by car. Supermarkets can take a while to get to on our usual trips to Wales, so that was handy. We drove up to an hour to keep the children entertained, which is about what we do at home anyway. Next time, we’re hoping to come back as a couple and explore the nearby scenery on foot. A really good holiday and a lovely place to stay. We’ll be back.
