The staff were excellent, and the continental breakfast was first rate, with plenty of food, pastries, coffee and tea. This is a lovely, cosy hotel in a nice town, and an easy walk from the station or just a couple of minutes from the bus interchange. It looks recently renovated, and the bar has a good range of local beers and spirits plus a great wine selection. A couple of things to bear in mind: we were on the first floor, reached by a narrow staircase, so people who aren't very mobile may want to ask about help with bags or a ground floor room. The Wi-Fi in our room was intermittent, and sometimes I had to leave the room to get a connection. Still, an excellent stay.

If we're back in Abergavenny, we'd definitely stay here again. Being close to the Main Street and a large Aldi was a big plus, and breakfast was included, a lovely continental spread with decent variety. Ffion and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with great customer service. The room was really clean, the bed super comfy, and the shower pressure was top notch. One of the best stays we've had!

Daya was manager of the day and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It's a lovely character hotel with clean rooms, a great breakfast and a good location. Highly recommended for a stay in scenic Abergavenny.

Back for another visit, and it was a pleasure as always. It's a lovely hotel with great staff. We had to leave early, and they had put together breakfasts for us to take, along with takeaway coffee. Such a nice touch, thank you! I'm sure we'll be back for more adventures soon. Definitely recommend.

We dropped in one evening for a drink and a snack. The building has been renovated and was in good shape. We tried locally brewed beer and shared a selection of meat and cheese. A good experience.
