We loved hearing our hosts talk about how they make their art. Their warmth was there from the moment we arrived, and they made us feel completely at home. The garden was a peaceful spot, full of flowers and birdsong. I only wish the weather had been better so we could’ve had breakfast outside. Inside, the paintings and unusual furnishings give the house the feel of a gallery, with something interesting in every room. It was a comfortable, inspiring stay, and I can’t recommend the Art Bed and Breakfast enough. Ten out of ten, and I can’t wait to return.

Our room looked out onto the magical garden, and I only wish the weather had let us eat breakfast outside. The house and garden were full of beautiful, interesting artwork too. We spent one night in the Mulberry Room. It was spotless and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, plus a kettle and coffee machine with lots of supplies. Our hostess was happy to let us check in early so we could get to our concert in Cardiff, and arriving back late was no trouble. There was so much choice at breakfast: seven kinds of fresh fruit, tasty bread you could toast, cereals, homemade jams and marmalade, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, juice, tea, and regular or decaf coffee. They also offered hot croissants, boiled eggs, and pain au raisin. Probably the best breakfast I’ve had in ages. Highly recommended. Just don’t let your sat nav take you down the tiny lane that cuts the corner. Go to the crossroads by the garden centre and turn there.

A lovely place to get away from the city. The house mixes traditional style with extravagant art, and the garden is beautiful. I also got to spend time with the 🐈⬛ and both owners, who are such lovely artists. I’d love to come back.

Christine was a really helpful host, and breakfast was great. Very comfortable too. Highly recommend.

Christine made me feel very welcome, and I had a great stay. The room was lovely and the bed really comfortable. Thanks again, I’d love to return one day.
