Carol made the stay with her wonderful hosting and an incredible breakfast. The B&B is gorgeous, tucked into the Brecon Beacons foothills. A must visit in this lovely part of Wales.

It really feels like a home from home here, since this is Carol's own home. We come back at least once a year and have been doing that for several years. The rooms are spacious, with two armchairs, and the bed is very comfortable. There's tea and coffee in the room, fresh water, and fresh milk in a thermos, thankfully not UHT. Breakfast is extremely good, and Carol is such a great host who can't do enough for you. It's on a working farm just outside Abergavenny, and they thoughtfully leave earplugs in case you need them, though we've never needed them. We can't recommend it highly enough.

The best part of the British B&B experience for me was the host. Carol is so friendly, helpful, and efficient. The room was spotless and comfortable, the location was great, and breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and everything well prepared. Don't sit reading this, book a stay now!
