We booked for 24 nights, and the accommodation had practically everything we needed for a holiday. It’s beautiful, spacious, and well equipped for two, with milk in the fridge and a welcome pack waiting for us. The location is handy for local walks, including The Skirrid, which has a 5-mile circular route or a shorter walk to the top if you drive partway. There are peacocks on the grounds. Be aware there are a few steps to the front door and to get to the bedroom and bathroom.

It was lovely to see so many birds around, including a peacock, and the farm’s fresh eggs were great. The accommodation was spacious and beautiful, on a farm in a very quiet area. And no, the peacock didn’t wake us up.

A peaceful, quiet place with a wonderful host and all the amenities we needed. There’s plenty of parking, and Abergavenny is a short drive away. I’d recommend it for a relaxing holiday, with those beautiful peacocks stopping by often.

We loved staying on a working farm, especially the Peacock family who came to visit us most mornings. It’s a beautiful setting in a wonderful part of Wales, and the accommodation had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The family were so welcoming and happy to get us anything we needed. If you want to experience life in the countryside, this is a lovely place to stay.
