Ty Hotel

The room had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a hit, with generous portions, which isn’t always the case at hotels. It was clean, quiet and relaxed, with ample parking. You’d never guess it was right by the M4. A good stay, definitely above average.

We got in at about 11 pm on Saturday 22/11/25, and the receptionist was really friendly and explained everything clearly. This was our first time here, and I was impressed. The room was spotless, smelled fresh and had a very comfortable bed, quite a change from our recent Travelodge stay. Breakfast had a good range of things and was very good. We’ll definitely stay here again while exploring more of the area.

The breakfast room was spacious and quiet, and with few other guests around it made for a relaxed start to the day. The coffee was tasty too. The hotel is conveniently just off the M4, and our room was spacious with a comfy bed.

We liked the Elemis toiletries, the better-than-average tea and coffee setup, and the reception and lounge areas. The basics, though, weren’t good enough for the price. Our family of five had booked two rooms for one night, including one with a sofa bed ready to use. It wasn’t set up, and reception couldn’t fix it until a colleague arrived. When they opened it, the previous guest’s bedding was still there, which didn’t feel clean. One room was missing towels. The main room door had broken or missing locks, and the bathroom door was crooked, wouldn’t shut properly, and had a lock that didn’t work. The bathroom floors were dirty. The air conditioning control was broken, and the unit blew loud hot air all night, so sleeping was difficult. The twin room’s beds were very old and uncomfortable, with springs you could feel. The entrance road was completely flooded, and driving in and out left our car filthy.
