Our evening at Wye Glamping was magical. We toasted marshmallows by the fire pit under a sky full of stars, listening to tawny owls and watching bats fly acrobatically overhead. It's a lovely place to unwind, in a quiet, secluded spot about 10 minutes' drive outside Hay-on-Wye, with rolling hills, open fields and a babbling brook. We stayed in Holly, one of two wooden huts. It was well equipped and charming, with a wood-burning fire for colder nights, though the weather was warm enough that we didn't need it. There were USB-A ports for charging a phone or tablet, but not USB-C, and a wired-in radio. A separate wooden hut served as the outdoor kitchen, with a gas stove, sink with running water, and all the bits needed to make dinner. There was also a fire pit with complimentary logs, a swing, picnic bench, two deckchairs and two folding camping chairs. The composting toilet is in another hut in the camping area. The shower and a plumbed-in toilet are about 75 yards up the path. Diane provided wheelbarrows to move our things from the car down the gravel paths to the hut. There is plenty to do nearby, from visiting local villages for excellent breakfasts, including Trigg at the Mill in Talgarth, to walks in the Brecon Beacons and pebble beaches along the river Wye. After years of camping as a child, this was my first glamping trip, and Wye Glamping is definitely worth a visit and a stay.

We had a wonderful first glamping trip at Wye Glamping with our dog, Molly. The cabin, Bramble, was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of warm bedding, a wood burner, places to hang clothes and put things, and USB charging ports, which were a nice surprise. The views were great, and the fairy lights gave the cabin a warm, relaxing glow in the evening. Waking up to fresh air and the sounds of nature, then having coffee in bed, was lovely. We spent evenings outside with drinks by the fire, listening to birds, distant sheep and the stream. Our generous decked area had a fully equipped kitchen, double hammock, two deckchairs and a picnic bench with seating for four. The cabin also has a double sofa bed for two extra people. The compost toilet beside the cabin had no smell at all despite it being July. There's also a toilet and shower at the top of the path, hand sanitiser in the toilet, and a running water tap in the kitchenette. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay, with great views, local amenities and wonderful staff. Thank you, Diana and Jess!

We had such a great time camping here. The tents are spacious, with log burners, and they supplied kindling and logs. There's also an outside burner that made for lovely evening fires. It's a lovely setup beside a small stream, and close to lots of places to visit. When our car broke down one day, the owner came out to the site in the dark to help. Luckily, he had the part we needed to get it running again and saved the day. The whole experience was amazing, and I'd definitely recommend coming here.

The cabin had everything we needed, and Wye glamping sits in such a lovely, peaceful spot. A great place to slow down and enjoy being outdoors. I'd happily recommend it to anyone wanting to unwind.

The setting was so calm, with lovely views and a brook where the kids and dogs could splash around and play. Hay on Way is just a 12 min drive away, and the owner and staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Diane and Jessica made us feel very looked after. We stayed for 3 days and are already talking about coming back. The cabins and yurts are really spacious, with everything you need in the room, kitchenette, toilet, and shower room. The log burner and fire pit warmed things up quickly. They supplied plenty of logs, kindling, and fire starters, and you can buy more on site for a very reasonable price. It exceeded our expectations.
