Tea waiting for us when we arrived was such a nice touch, and breakfast was top notch. The house was immaculate, and our room felt really welcoming. Lesley and Simon were so helpful when we had a medical need. It’s easy to walk into town from here, and the upper train station is just 220 steps away. One of the nicest B&Bs we’ve stayed in. If you’re coming to Helensburgh, book here. Thank you both for making the stay so memorable.

The bread at breakfast wasn’t fresh, though the rest of the breakfast was good. Leslie was kind and knew all the good things to do and places to eat around town, and worked around our outing plans when arranging breakfast. The accommodation is gorgeous, with warm hospitality and a great location. We spent ages admiring the beautiful interior design. It honestly felt like being on a film set.

The garden is beautiful, and the view over the Clyde from the window seats was amazing. As the room next door was empty, Leslie let us use those seats, which we really appreciated. She also made us pots of tea each afternoon when we got back from our trips. Moorlands is a great place to stay for a visit to Helensburgh, which makes a good base for lots of activities. Leslie and Simon were incredible hosts, and it felt like visiting family. We had a lovely room. Thank you both.

We loved staying in this amazing Victorian house, and it’s perfectly placed for Helensburgh. Margaret gave us a really friendly welcome when we arrived, and the owner and housekeeper made us feel at home and couldn’t do enough for us. Our en suite room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and two sofas. Would recommend it to anyone. x
