Bowers Mill Aparthotel handled our booking terribly. We'd reserved several rooms for our wedding weekend 14 months ahead, but they cancelled all of them with five months' notice, saying they'd changed their business model and would now only take bookings of five nights or more. Why not honour the existing reservations and work the new model around them? The Aparthotel team didn't even tell us directly. They only got in touch after other disappointed guests posted on social media. I still haven't received any personal communication or my deposit refund.

The Bridal Suite was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, and we had a lovely stay. Service was excellent, as was the communication before we arrived. It was so peaceful. After a restful sleep on an autumn Sunday, waking up to cows grazing in the nearby fields was a perfect start to the day. Faultless, and I can't recommend Bowers Mill highly enough. Thanks to Imogen for a fantastic one-night stay.

We booked the whole hotel for two nights for our wedding, a year in advance, then got a cancellation two months before because they no longer offer stays under five nights and wouldn't honour any future bookings. I imagine lots of wedding guests from The Venue Bowers Mill are in the same situation. Disgusting service.

That was the worst hotel stay I've had. The rooms looked nothing like the photos, and there was damp everywhere and cracked windows. We booked three nights but it was so bad that we stayed only one.

The room was beautiful and the staff were lovely, especially Dee. We were there for a wedding and didn't get to bed until well after midnight, so being woken at 6am by an aerobics class was awful. A microphone kept calling out 1-2-3-4 over and over, with thumping music behind it. I'd think twice before booking again.
